Simle Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) Meeting Minutes
April 8, 2025
Attendance: Bridget Schapp, Russ Riehl, April Jenkins, Jane Link, Josh Jenkins, and Dawn Moen

3. Treasurer’s Report
a. Ms. Jenkins verified that she was able to remove the Dustin Lang and add herself from the account at Capital Credit Union.
b. Ms. Jenkins reported that there is roughly $7,000 in the checking account.
4. School Update
a. Mr. Riehl provided update on the positions that have been filled at Simle and resignations.
b. Mr. Riehl indicated that Simle is still working out their schedule with the new start times. The new start time for Simle students is 8:40am and end time will be 3:50pm.
c. Mr. Riehl asked if PAC would be interested in partnering with Meghan Bardell on Teacher Appreciation week (May 5-9, 2025). PAC indicated that we would be interested and assisting with costs. We will email out a Sign-Up Genius again.
5. Old Business
a. Jane Link, Bridget Schapp, Josh Jenkins, April Jenkins, and Dawn Moen received their packets to review the scholarship applications. The packet and scoring information must be returned to the office by April 15, 2025. Scholarships will be presented on April 30, 2025, at 2:00pm. The winners will be asked to provide a speech.
b. Reminder of the 8th Grade Bowling Party on May 14th. Mr. Riehl was going to verify the time the volunteers should be at the school. The volunteers are Cassie D., April J., and Dawn M.
6. New Business
a. Mr. Riehl mentioned that he spoke with Mr. Woeste about PAC having concussions during games and tournaments as discussed at the last meeting. Mr. Riehl indicated we can start planning for that. I asked Mr. Riehl if we could have a meeting in August to visit about some logistics and maybe a get a schedule. Mr. Riehl indicated he would look at his calendar and see what would work best.
