PAC Meeting Minutes
December 3, 2024
Attendance: Principal Russ Riehl, Simle Instructional Coach Meghan Bardell, Jane Link, Bridget 
Schapp, and April Jenkins.
1. Meeting called to order
2. Introductions
3. Treasurer’s Report: Nothing to report, no transactions since last meeting.
4. School Update
a. Mrs. Bardell updated the committee on the need for growth and TSI (Targeted Support Instruction)
b. $75,000 has been approved to help kids with additional resources in Reading and Math, and a 
small amount towards Special Education and English Learners. Reading is a huge focus and Reading 
Plus will be used 80 minutes per week. November stats showed over 88% of students are doing 80 
minutes per week.
c. The next state assessment window is March-May, 2025
d. Registration for 2025-26 will begin in January, 2025.
e. Simle Christmas Store will be happening again this month. Mr. Riehl will let the PAC know if 
there is a need to fill. April Jenkins will drop off a bunch of pop-it fidgets for the store.
